History

The Farmer’s Porch first started as a dream and desire to raise/ grow all natural sustainable products for our family. We started this journey many years ago knowing that we wanted to grow our produce without chemicals or pesticides and that we wanted to raise our animals without any antibiotics, GMO grain, and other medications. However, while we wanted to produce food for ourselves that was clean and free of harmful chemicals we couldn’t forget about the wellbeing of our animals. We believe that animals should be treated well and should be loved. So at the Farmer’s Porch we strive to have happy animals because happy animals are also healthy animals.

We work to replenish the soil and micro-organisms within it and not to deplete it with our gardening and farming practices. Our goal is to leave this land with more soil and the health of the soil in a greater condition than before. We believe the way to feed the world is more small farms that sell to their local community products that will truly nourish them and helps connect individuals to where their food comes from.
